Sonya has worked with The Dow Group since 2015. After summering in the Lakes Region all her life, at the age of 10 her parents moved here permanently. A graduate of Kingswood Regional High School, Sonya considers herself a true local.
Sonya and her husband Bill have raised their four children in Wolfeboro and are solid, active members of the community. Her involvement includes board member and founder of the Stacey Burns Memorial Scholarship 5K and a committee member at Melvin Village Community Church.
In 1989, Sonya and Bill moved to Lake Tahoe, California where Bill learned the construction trade. They moved back to New Hampshire in 1994 and in 1996 started their own construction business. Sonya’s knowledge of construction has been instrumental with her real estate business.
Sonya attended UNH where she obtained an associate’s degree in business and continued on to Dental Hygiene school at NHTI. She practiced dental hygiene for 23 years while she raised her kids and helped Bill with his construction business. She has always loved real estate and needed to find the right time to switch careers.
Sonya’s hobbies are skiing, boating, hiking, piano, playing card games, golf, pickle ball, traveling, biking, watching sunsets and being with family and friends.
During her profession as a Realtor, Sonya has helped numerous families find their homes including first time home buyers to waterfront homes on beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee totaling over 150 sold properties. You will appreciate her attentive response and knowledge of the current market.
