Adam is a native of Wolfeboro, an area where 9 generations of his family have called home. He spent a short stint in the Seacoast area obtaining his BS in Business Administration at UNH and then working at a management consulting company. His love of the Lake called him back to Wolfeboro, where he and his wife Becky have raised their 3 kids.
It was after Adam began his real estate career, he learned later that his close friends were a bit concerned as he was not a salesman type. He was not pushy or the traditional salesman. However, Adam did have some things working in his favor. First, he was born and raised in Wolfeboro and the hours spent in his grandfather’s 13 foot Boston Whaler proved to be huge experience when dealing with luxury waterfront buyers new to the area and in need of local expertise. Secondly, and more importantly his integrity and desire to truly want what was best for the clients is what gave him success in the real estate industry. His business was and is based on win win relationships and putting the client and his team first.
Before entering the real estate field, Adam obtained his BS in Business Administration from the Whittemore School of Business and Economics at UNH. After which, he worked his way to partner at a management system consulting firm located in Portsmouth, NH. Clients of the firm included Royal Caribbean, Mobil, Exxon and other major ocean shipping and cruise companies. Adam’s responsibilities included project management, marketing, technical support, client support and contract negotiations. The skills learned could not have been more perfect for entering the real estate industry.
The Dow Group is led by Adam and his wife Becky. Becky is the Director of Operations and leads the full time staff handling the behind the scenes efforts of the marketing, finance and transactional departments. In 2022, the Team sold over $215,000,000 in real estate, comprising nearly 300 transactions and generating over $5,000,000 in GCI. The Operations role is a huge one. Becky also has her BS in Business Administration from UNH and corporate experience with Filienes and TJX companies.
Adam and Becky live on Lake Winnipesaukee, they have investment homes at Bretton Woods Ski Resort and in Barbados. They have 3 great kids, Alyssa (attending Liberty University), Troy (attending Kingswood High School) and Brielle (attending Cornerstone Christian Academy). They take full advantage of the four seasons that New Hampshire has to offer.
Adam, on most days, is a single handicap golfer. He is a member of Kingswood Golf Club and on the waitlist for Bald Peak Colony Club. His family has had a place on Keniston Island since the 60’s and is where his extended family visits and vacations together during the summers.
Adam has served on multiple boards including “The Nick”, Lifebridge Mentoring, Kingswood Golf Club and has volunteered for many other great local organizations.
