Karen Mairs and Judy Gaskell Join The Dow Group at Keller Williams

Wolfeboro, NH (June 26, 2023) — Karen Mairs and Judy Gaskell have joined The Dow Group as New Hampshire Seacoast and Maine Area Experts.

Karen is a Fourth Generation Dover, NH native and has had a diverse career spanning several different industries. After earning her Associate's degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management from Champlain College in Burlington, VT, she went on to receive her Bachelor's Degree in Marine Science from Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina. She then used her knowledge and skills to help renovate, restore, and manage family-owned investment properties for the next 21 years. During this time she also ran the 1790 Schooner House Inn as furnished short term executive rentals and co-managed the family-owned The Barn Tavern restaurant in Dover, NH from 1998 to 2002. Karen became a Licensed New Hampshire Real Estate Agent in 2010 and has since helped over 200 families build their real estate wealth. Additionally, she has served as Past President, Treasurer, and Communications Chair for the Strafford County Board of Realtors. Karen is currently pursuing her Maine Guide's License and hopes to lead snowshoeing and other outdoor experiences this upcoming season. In her free time she enjoys fishing, kayaking, trapping, sewing furs, photography, flower gardening, and being outdoors with her partner Lee and their two dogs Gabbi and Axel. Karen and Lee just took a two-day workshop on fly-fishing and plan to continue honing their skills.

Judy has been a licensed Realtor for 5 years in NH and 2 years in Maine. She is located in the Seacoast area working out of the Portsmouth NH office. Judy has lived on the Seacoast most of her life attending Portsmouth schools and graduating from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Business Administration. She is the daughter and sister of military veterans and understands the military lifestyle. After spending many years as a caregiver and having to sell her parents' home, it sparked an interest in real estate. Judy currently lives on the Seacoast with her husband, where they raised their two kids. They split their time between Rye and their home on Great East Lake, taking her two dogs along for the “ride”.
